We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener / Landscaper to join our qualified grounds maintenance team at the historic Rookwood Cemetery. Key Responsibilities
- Mowing large turf areas using ride-on and push mowers.
- Detailed trimming and edging using whipper snippers and edgers.
- General garden maintenance, including weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Site clean-up using leaf blowers and other equipment.
- Hedge trimming and minor pruning of shrubs and trees.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: Proven commercial experience (minimum 2 years) in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in using standard gardening equipment (push mowers, whipper snippers, edgers, and leaf blowers).
- Licence: Current and valid C-Class Driver's Licence (standard car licence).
- Clearance: Must be able to pass a police background check upon offer of employment.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
