Position Overview
Senior Water Engineer (Civil or Mechanical) – Gladstone. You will bolster and grow GHD's presence in the region's water and wastewater sector, leading innovative solutions and delivery across the full project lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
* Secure a pipeline of work in line with the group's business plan and deliver projects to client satisfaction.
* Represent GHD as a trusted advisor to local water clients, strengthening relationships.
* Actively define project scope, design innovative technical solutions, and lead design teams.
* Lead development and submission of proposals for new projects.
* Mentor and develop less experienced team members, collaborating across service lines.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field; must be eligible for or hold the relevant engineering registration (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ, PWC Design Accreditation).
* Significant experience in technical leadership and management of water engineering projects.
* Extensive knowledge of applicable standards and industry best practice.
* Track record of delivering excellent client experience and identifying cross‐sell opportunities.
* Valid driver's license.
