About the role
Kids Active is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators and a Cook to join our vibrant team at our Lakelands, WA 6180 location. There are Full-time, Part-time and Casual positions that offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children while contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met
- Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities and programs to stimulate children\'s learning and development
- Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to understand and support each child\'s individual needs
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children in your care
- Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
- Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
What we\'re looking for
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A Certificate in Cookery (Cook Role Only)
- Strong knowledge of the NQS, NQF, and EYLF
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- A valid Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and First Aid certification
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
