The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics educator with a passion for student outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school's success and will be expected to deliver high‐quality teaching across Year 7‐10 and Year 11‐12, including ATAR Mathematics Methods and/or Mathematics Specialist.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated mathematics instruction for Years 7‐10 and 11‐12.
* Analyse student data and use evidence‐based instructional practices to drive student achievement.
* Collaborate with the Mathematics team to plan, moderate and reflect on teaching practice.
* Actively participate in structured professional learning, planning meetings, moderation processes and targeted coaching.
* Mentor and support teaching staff to cultivate a high‐expectation, collaborative learning culture.
* Leverage technology (e.g., Compass, Reporting to Parents, Student Achievement Information System) to enhance engagement, differentiation and assessment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Strong curriculum expertise and capacity to teach both secondary curriculum and ATAR mathematics courses.
* Proven ability to differentiate instruction, analyse learning data and apply evidence‐based practices.
* Growth mindset characterised by high expectations, collaborative spirit, reflective practice and focus on student development.
* Professional understanding of the Department of Education's operational systems and contemporary instructional framework.
* Experience using digital platforms to streamline workflows, analyse performance data and enhance communication with students and families.
