General Manager - National Projects (Trade Services)
TVH is growing, and our national projects function needs a leader who knows the work from the inside. You'll come from a trade discipline in HVAC, Fire or Electrical. You'll have led project delivery in a service-based business at scale. And you'll know what good estimating, commercial control and subcontractor management actually look like, because you've been there, done that!
Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the decisions sit with you, not three layers up. You'll build the team, improve the controls, and support the project growth TVH is heading toward.
What You Will Do
* Lead, mentor and develop state-based Project Managers and project delivery teams nationally
* Own commercial and financial performance across the national project portfolio, including budgets, forecasts, margins and cost control
* Build and embed estimating, pricing and commercial control disciplines that support scalable growth
* Approve major project commitments and procurement strategies
* Oversee planning, execution and delivery of projects, on time, on budget and to contract
* Contribute to tender strategy and shape how TVH wins and delivers complex work
What You Bring
* A trade or technical background in HVAC, Fire or Electrical services
* 10 to 15+ years' experience in project delivery within building services
* Demonstrated experience leading project delivery in a service-based business model
* Tier 1 or large national contractor experience highly regarded
* Proven experience leading multi-site, large-scale project teams
* Strong project estimating and pricing capability - not from a distance, but hands‐on credible
* Commercial and risk awareness across complex contracts, variations, claims and disputes
