Informatics Sales Leader
This is a leadership role for someone who can effectively lead and motivate sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
* About the Job:
* Directly manage Enterprise Informatics revenue by achieving financial objectives for orders, sales, margin, and spending budgets.
* Collaborate with field and worldwide marketing groups to build an aggressive business plan that improves market share and drives next-generation informatics products.
* Establish strategic customer relationships and centers of innovation, including executive-level relationships with major accounts.
* Foster a great customer experience by focusing the sales and support teams on customer engagement and success.
* Develop direct reports to improve sales performance and enable career growth.
* Manage field sales teams and key customer activities.
* Achieve assigned annual operating plans, forecasting, and Salesforce compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
* Education:
* Bachelor's degree, master's, or PhD in a scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry preferred.
* Experience:
* At least 5 years of direct sales experience with a confirmed history of success. Previous experience selling CDS, ELN, SDMS, and SaaS-based solutions in a GxP environment preferred.
* Previous sales management experience preferred.
* Experience with Waters Informatics Products, specifically Empower Software, is a plus.
* Success in sophisticated selling environments, having sold enterprise-class software or high-tech instrumentation.
* Knowledge in IT (networking, Windows domain, client/server, database, and cloud computing).
* Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and regulated market spaces.
* Experience with CRM or other sales and customer platforms.
* Knowledge of various services and sales tactics, as well as broad-based business and financial acumen.
