Senior Project Management Consultant
Our government client seeks an experienced consultant to deliver high-level project management services across capital works programs. This role requires strong leadership, professional knowledge, and hands-on experience in the building and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, manage, and coordinate activities to deliver capital works across a range of programs.
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure program delivery and profitability.
* Lead, mentor, and monitor project managers and staff, including quality assurance procedures.
* Coordinate all aspects of building project implementation: pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction.
* Manage project teams, external consultants, contractors, and other business units to achieve objectives.
* Prepare regional capital-related reports.
* Provide high-level contract coordination for traditional and non-traditional systems.
* Lead negotiations with consultants, local authorities, clients, and contractors to ensure value-for-money solutions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in the building and construction industry.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and complex contracts.
* Experience with Correctional, Fire, Justice, or Police projects is highly desirable.
