Job Description:

For more than 175 years, St Vincent's Care Services has been a leading Catholic provider of Aged Care Services in Australia and the legacy of compassion, justice, integrity and excellence entrusted to us by the Sisters of Charity and their Founder Mary Aikenhead continues to inspire our work today.

We invite you to explore a compelling Permanent Full-Time opportunity as a passionate
Head of Service Delivery Governance
at St Vincent's Care. Join our team in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals living within our aged care communities.

Reporting to our National Director Healthy Ageing, we are seeking a highly skilled senior leader to manage our Service Delivery Governance Unit. The unit provides governance leadership across all St Vincent's Care Services in Queensland, NSW and Victoria with responsibility for ensuring consistent high quality service delivery in aged care including clinical care, quality, compliance, learning, development, performance, reporting and supporting systems.

The Service Delivery Governance Unit is a small team skilled professional officers and team leaders with responsibilities across the organisation for three key functional areas of governance - Quality Compliance & Safe Service Management; Delivery & Development; and Performance & Reporting, Support & Systems. As the Head of Service Delivery Governance, you will be a skilled leader and communicator capable of working with staff at all levels from senior leaders to clinical and care staff in our residential care homes. You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of good governance are understood and implemented in all services, while keeping abreast of changes to legislation and service standards whilst ensuring all employees are supported to meet these standards.

In this role you will:

* Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Provide supportive leadership as a member of the senior leadership team, collaborating with stakeholders to align on strategy and goals
* Project & Service Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle of service delivery and development projects, from initial design through to successful execution
* Quality & Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation, leading efforts in quality management, compliance, and training
* Compliance & Governance: Ensure all practices, policies, and procedures adhere to national standards and current/emerging legislation, including preparing for and supporting audits and remediation to serve as a centre of excellence across our services
* Risk & Incident Management: Review and analyse incident and complaint trends to identify and address risk factors, ensuring adherence to open disclosure principles
* Financial Management & Reporting: Manage departmental budgets, planning, and reporting to support organisational goals and operational efficiency
* Research & Development Oversight: Provide senior oversight for any research initiatives the organisation undertakes

This is more than a job; it's a chance to lead and inspire. As a senior leader, you will be the driving force behind our commitment to excellence, ensuring every aspect of care – from clinical practices to non-clinical support – meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What's on your resume is important, but what's in your heart matters more.
