The Social Work Department at Townsville University Hospital delivers high-quality psychosocial care across acute and rehabilitation settings.
As part of the Allied Health Services Division, the team supports patients and families through complex health journeys, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes and promote wellbeing.

About your opportunity
As a Social Worker, you will provide clinical services that address the psychosocial needs of patients and families across the health service.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practice and contributing to quality improvement and research initiatives.
This casual role offers flexibility and the chance to work across various clinical areas, supported by a team that values learning and collaboration.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Social Work providing eligibility for AASW membership.
Ability to participate in clinical rotations, on-call, shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
Compliance with VPD requirements including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and Pertussis.
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) may be required.
