Responsibilities
* Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics IAW the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
* Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and procedures.
* Ensure all maintenance has been completed and that corrective maintenance actions satisfy the task requirements.
* Carry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation.
* Use equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions and in a safe and proper manner.
Experience & Qualifications
* Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) – Essential.
* Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance – Essential.
* Hold a Class C driver's licence – Essential.
* Be suitable to obtain DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) – Essential.
* Demonstrate sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework – Essential.
* Demonstrate contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices – Essential.
* Prior maintenance experience on 737NG or derivative aircraft – Desirable.
Security Clearance
You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for the whole period of life, from birth to present.
