Position Description
The Sales Administrator is responsible for coordination of everyday running of the Perth branch. This includes sales/customer service and administration aspects of Perth Progressive Supplies, as well as liaison with the chemical manufacturing side of the Company.
Responsibilities
* Taking orders over the phone, via email and customer walk-ins (POS and cash handling)
* Processing orders and invoicing in MYOB
* Stock monitoring and purchasing
* Liaising with the Warehouse Stores person regarding chemical requirements and discussing said requirements with the Purchasing Manager
* Coordinating customer deliveries and stock pickups with the Warehouse Stores person
* Communicating system, stock or processing issues with the Director or General Manager
* Maintaining cleanliness of the office and other staff areas; point person for mailing, banking, supplies and errands
* Monitor and maintain office supplies
* Debtors - Allocating payments, Statements, All Queries & copy invoices, Debt collection
* Reconciling bank statements - NAB Bank Statements, NAB Credit Card, ANZ Credit Card
* Work alongside the Warehouse Stores person to ensure stock and chemical availability and smooth processes between initial order taking and delivery
* Report to the General Manager [Angela Mills] and Director [Scott Mills] on branch activity; regularly liaise with Purchasing Manager regarding chemical and other stock levels, and the two other branches
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in a sales administration or accounts role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
