Powerplay Next-Level Karting – Joondalup WA
As PowerPlay continues to grow we are looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our PowerPlay Joondalup Venue.
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will lead a team of front‐of‐house and track staff, manage rostering and labour budgets, and maintain high operational standards across all aspects of the venue.
This role is best suited to someone who has already managed a venue or customer‐facing location, led a team, and taken full ownership of operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operational performance and safety of the venue
* Ensure all processes and procedures are followed in line with PowerPlay standards
* Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues during trading hours
* Lead the delivery of a safe, fun, and memorable customer experience for every guest
* Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor during peak trading periods
* Monitor and respond to customer feedback across multiple channels
* Lead, coach, and develop front‐of‐house and track staff
* Manage performance through regular feedback, development, and recognition
* Approve team timesheets and ensure payroll accuracy
* Build and manage fortnightly rosters within the approved labour budget
* Reconcile daily sales against booking and point‐of‐sale systems
About You
You are an experienced venue or hospitality leader who thrives in fast‐paced, customer‐facing environments.
You Will Bring
* 3+ years' experience managing a venue, retail store, or hospitality location
* Demonstrated people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
* Experience managing rosters and labour budgets
* Strong customer service focus with the ability to resolve issues confidently
* High personal standards for presentation, organisation, and accountability
* A genuine enthusiasm for the PowerPlay experience and brand
