About The Role
Based within the Cardiology Department, you will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies for both inpatient and outpatient services, supporting the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care while participating in the after‐hours on‐call roster.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
* Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations for inpatient and outpatient populations.
* Participate in the after‐hours on‐call service as required.
* Contribute to efficient patient flow and departmental operations, including administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff and allied health professionals to support patient care.
Essential About You
* Bachelor of Science, Applied Science or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography.
* Demonstrated experience working within a cardiology service.
* Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Desirable
* Experience performing echocardiography in patients with congenital heart disease.
* Experience working within a tertiary or public hospital environment.
