Suitable applicants from this process will be placed in a pool from which temporary and/or permanent appointments may be made. The pool will operate for a period of 12 months from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.

The Delivery and Policy Division
The Delivery and Policy Division provides strategic leadership and coordination to ensure whole-of-government priorities are effectively delivered. It is structured under two Groups: Delivery Unit and Policy. Together, these functions enable the Department to provide independent, evidence-based advice and ensure alignment between Government decision making and the delivery of Government priorities.

Responsibilities
* Act as a vital coordination link between senior executives, Ministers, and key public and private stakeholders.
* Contribute to whole-of-government priorities by delivering essential project support.
* Manage executive briefing pipelines and conduct research and analysis.
* Provide executive and secretarial support whilst being involved in priority projects (Level 5).
* Deal with a range of high-level complex and confidential issues and provide secretarial, executive and administrative support (Level 4).
Roles
* Level 5: Executive Officer – working directly with the Deputy Director General, a fast-paced role providing executive and secretarial support while also being involved in priority projects for the division.
* Level 4: Senior Executive Assistant – working directly with the Group Head, dealing with a range of high-level complex and confidential issues, while providing secretarial, executive and administrative support.

Permanent appointment:
* To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia at the time of applying.
