The Opportunity

We are seeking an Administration Officer – People & Culture to join our Corporate Governance, Audit & Compliance Services team.

This role has been created in response to Activated Concepts' ongoing growth and increasing workforce operational requirements, particularly across recruitment administration, onboarding, induction, training coordination, workforce engagement, staff communication, HR administration and internal culture initiatives.

This is an operational and administrative role with a strong People & Culture focus. Over time, the role is intended to develop into a lead support position for workforce processing, engagement and People & Culture administration systems.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who is highly organised, people-focused, confident with administration and interested in developing their career in Human Resources, People & Culture, workforce operations, internal communications or corporate services.

About the Role

As Administration Officer – People & Culture, you will provide practical administrative and workforce support across the full employee lifecycle.

You will assist with recruitment administration, onboarding, induction, training coordination, staff communication, workforce records, engagement initiatives, culture activities, social media support and general corporate administration.

The role will support all Activated Concepts areas, including:

Mental Health & Allied Health Services

Family, Disability & Community Support Services

Seniors, Home, Nursing & Support Services

Corporate Governance, Audit & Compliance Services

The Clinical College

Activated EAP

This is a varied role requiring strong attention to detail, professional communication, initiative, confidentiality and the ability to support multiple priorities across a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment administration, including interview coordination, applicant communication and onboarding preparation.

Assist with onboarding, induction, staff documentation, workforce compliance and credential tracking.

Maintain training registers, staff records and registers, workforce files and HR administration systems.

Support probation review administration, offboarding coordination and workforce lifecycle processes.

Assist with staff communication, workforce updates, internal newsletters and engagement materials.

Coordinate staff recognition, birthdays, welcome and farewell initiatives, milestone acknowledgements and internal culture activities.

Support workforce wellbeing, staff social initiatives and team engagement activities.

Assist with workforce-focused social media content, LinkedIn and Facebook engagement, internal branding and employer branding initiatives.

Provide administrative support to the CGACS team, including meeting coordination, minute taking, document formatting, template management and electronic filing.

Assist with policy, procedure, audit, compliance and governance administration tasks.

Support reception and phone overflow where required.

Assist leaders with workforce administration requirements under Executive direction.

Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and accuracy across all workforce and administrative processes.

About You

You are an organised, professional and people-focused administrator who enjoys supporting teams, improving processes and contributing to positive workplace culture.

You understand that strong People & Culture administration is more than paperwork — it supports workforce stability, staff experience, communication, compliance and organisational growth.

You are confident working across multiple priorities, following through on tasks and maintaining accurate records. You communicate clearly, use initiative and bring a warm, practical and solutions-focused approach to your work.

You may already have experience in administration, HR support, recruitment administration, workforce coordination, internal communications, compliance administration or corporate services. Alternatively, you may be looking for the right opportunity to develop your career in People & Culture while being supported to build your skills over time.

You Will Bring

Strong administration, coordination and organisational skills.

High attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate records.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

An interest in People & Culture, Human Resources, workforce engagement or internal communications.

Ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion.

Confidence using Microsoft Office, electronic records, spreadsheets and administration systems.

A warm, professional and values-aligned approach to staff communication.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive workforce information appropriately.

A proactive approach to workplace culture, staff engagement and continuous improvement.

Experience in recruitment administration, HR administration, onboarding, training coordination, social media and marketing, or compliance administration will be highly regarded.

Selection Criteria

Experience in administration, corporate services, HR administration, recruitment administration, workforce coordination or a similar role.

Strong written communication, document formatting and records management skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage competing administrative priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with staff, leaders and external stakeholders.

Experience supporting onboarding, induction, training coordination, workforce records or compliance tracking preferred.

Interest in People & Culture, workforce engagement, staff wellbeing and organisational culture.

Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic administration systems.

Confidence using Canva.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professional boundaries.

Required Qualifications & Checks

Or willingness to obtain:

Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, Community Services or similar preferred.

HR-related qualification or willingness to undertake further study highly regarded.

Current National Police Check.

NDIS Worker Screening Check.

NSW Working with Children Check.

NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

Child Safe Training.

Other relevant compliance checks or training as required by Activated Concepts.
