Role Overview
The role of Senior Consultant, Application Control, involves the design, implementation and maintenance of secure desktop environments for enterprise clients. This includes the creation of Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and modern application control solutions using technologies such as Microsoft WDAC, AppLocker, Ivanti, Carbon Black, and Airlock.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain SOEs across enterprise EUC environments
* Implement and tune application control solutions (WDAC, AppLocker, Ivanti, Airlock, Carbon Black)
* Deploy and manage policies via MECM, Intune, Ivanti or similar
* Analyse software usage and risks to refine controls
* Troubleshoot compatibility, policy, and SOE issues
* Document standards and contribute to project delivery
* Collaborate across cyber, infrastructure, and EUC teams to uplift maturity
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in SOE engineering, endpoint security, or system engineering
* Hands-on experience with application control technologies
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardening standards, and security frameworks
* Familiarity with MECM, Intune, Ivanti or equivalent tooling
* Ability to troubleshoot, document clearly, and work across technical teams
