Remuneration

* Clinical Nurse Consultant Gde 2: $68.50 to $69.87 per hour
* Psychologist: $40.58 - $59.39 per hour
* Senior Psychologist: $62.53 to $67.75 per hour
* Clinical Psychologist: $57.30 to $69.84 per hour
* Senior Clinical Psychologist: $72.98 to $77.16 per hour
* Occupational Therapist Lvl 4: $63.81 to $65.36 per hour
* Social Worker Lvl 4: $63.81 to $65.36 per hour
* Welfare Off Lvl 4: $63.81 to $65.36 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

The Clinical Leader provides expert clinical services, governance and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, for children and young people up to 18 years presenting with symptoms of mental illness and/or risk issues.


Selection Criteria

* Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers, or Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health for Welfare Officers.
* Demonstrated high level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of assessment and evidence‑based interventions with children, adolescents and their families/carers experiencing high acuity of mental health issues, including post‑graduation experience. For Registered Nurses at least 5 years full‑time equivalent postgraduate experience with postgraduate tertiary nursing qualifications in mental health and at least 3 years full‑time equivalent experience in the specialty field or current enrolment in an approved postgraduate course within the next 12 months.
* Proven ability to think critically, problem‑solve and make timely, sound clinical decisions while working autonomously.
* Expertise in clinical leadership and supervision of mental health clinicians from all disciplines, upholding standards of practice.
* High level knowledge of the legislative framework for working with children and adolescents with mental health problems, including a thorough understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and relevant child protection regulations.
* Current unrestricted driver's licence and ability to maintain. Willingness to drive/travel as required, including long distances.
