General Summary
The HR Coordinator is responsible for facilitating human resource processes at all business locations, enhancing overall organizational operations. This role works in partnership with the Talent and HR teams to onboard and offboard colleagues, being the first and last point of contact.
* Provides support to the Talent and HR teams, with close attention to detail
* Research, analysis, and document findings
* Partners with colleagues and management to communicate various policies and procedures
* Ensures that new hires have a great onboarding experience
* Performs administrative HR tasks
* Maintains current information on the company intranet and HRIS system
* Complies with all regulatory requirements and mandated reporting
* Maintains knowledge of legal requirements
* Conducts exit interviews to begin the offboarding process
* Analyzes data for leadership requests
* Oversees colleague relations and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement
* Completes electronic filing of all HR and colleague documents
* Assists the organization with 401k and benefit changes and procedures
* Maintains colleague confidence and protects operations by keeping all data confidential
* Assists in formal company seminars
Knowledge, Skills, and or Abilities Required
* Ability to work independently on projects and processes with close supervision
* Broad theoretical knowledge of the applicable work area
* Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business requirements
* Outstanding suite of communication skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work constructively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
* Excellent team skills with the ability to create effective relationships with peers, partners, and leadership
Educational / Vocational / Previous Experience Recommendations
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience
* 2+ years of relevant experience
