The Role
We are seeking a chef/cook to join our dynamic kitchen team to deliver quality food, maintain our high standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Food Preparation & Service
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Maintain portion control and minimize food waste.
Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supply as directed.
Provide training and mentorship to junior/inexperienced kitchen staff as needed.
Adapt to high-pressure situations and busy service periods.
Entertainment Venue Operations
Demonstrate the ability to support the front-of-house team during quieter kitchen times, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Min 2 years of commercial kitchen experience in a high-volume environment.
Availability to work weekends and evenings.
Dependability; you need to be part of team and be reliable and supportive of your fellow team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Current Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain)
RSA (or ability to obtain)
