About the role:
* Work as part of an established in-house legal team, advising across technology, IT, procurement, data and broader commercial matters
* Draft, review and negotiate a range of technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, managed services, consultancy agreements and supplier arrangements
* Provide advice on ICT procurement, digital projects, data management, privacy, cybersecurity and associated risk issues
* Partner with internal teams across technology, procurement, operations and wider business functions
* Deliver clear, practical legal advice with support from senior members of the legal team
* Assist with identifying, assessing and managing legal risk across technology, supplier and commercial contract matters
The ideal candidate:
* Minimum 4 years PQE
* Lawyer with experience across technology, IT, commercial contracts, procurement, privacy or data-related matters
* Comfortable working with internal stakeholders and supporting matters from start to finish
* Experience with SaaS agreements, software licensing, cloud contracts, ICT procurement, privacy, cybersecurity or digital transformation projects will be highly regarded
The ideal candidate will have some in-house experience, but applications from lawyers from private practice or government are also welcome.
