About the Role
We are a busy and growing automotive mechanic workshop looking for a reliable Sales & Administration Assistant to support our daily operations primarily on Thursdays and/or Fridays weekly with an outlook to grow into a more regular position within 6 months. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer contact, staying organised, and helping keep the workshop running smoothly. We're a well‐run workshop that values respect, explicit communication, and looking after our people as much as our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* General administrative support for the workshop
* Updating and managing job cards and service bookings
* Answering inbound phone calls and assisting customers with enquiries
* Making outbound calls to existing customers to book services and follow up on due maintenance
* Contacting customers regarding their vehicles, job updates, and completion notifications
* Updating and maintaining customer records
* Using and updating our CRM system
* Minor bookkeeping tasks such as invoices, payments, and basic records
* Supporting the workshop team as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
About You
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Confident speaking with customers over the phone
* Well organised with good attention to detail
* Basic computer skills (CRM, emails, data entry)
* Comfortable with follow-up and outbound calls
* Previous experience in administration, customer service, or automotive industry preferred (but not essential)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
