Personal Assistant & Content Creator – Events & Marketing (Diesel Perth)
Location: Lake Coogee, Perth WA (office + on site at events)
Type: Part time (minimum 16 hrs/week) + weekend casual event support
Pay: $25–$30/hr weekdays (depending on experience) + weekend casual rates

Diesel Productions is a full-service event agency delivering DJs, MCs and musicians alongside sound and lighting production. Diesel Media captures events through photography, videography and content creation. Diesel Entertainment Academy provides DJ training for private events. We create unforgettable experiences across weddings, corporate events, school functions and private celebrations throughout Perth and beyond.
Role
You are the Personal Assistant to Daniel Antic (CEO), working across marketing content creation, events, and operations. This is a fully in‐person role based in Lake Coogee, involving both office‐based work and on‐site event support.
Core Responsibilities
Content & Marketing (Primary Responsibility)
Create and edit short‐form social media content to grow the brand and drive sales.
Capture and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
Create BTS and VLOG‐style event content.
Multi‐cam editing using DaVinci Resolve (training provided).
Assist with content calendars and marketing campaigns.
Admin & Coordination
Manage inbox, bookings and schedules.
Coordinate suppliers and crew.
Update systems, checklists and client notes.
Accounts Support (MYOB)
Basic invoicing, receipting and expense tracking.
Event Support
Event setup and pack down.
On‐site content capture and coordination.
Occasional travel for events within WA, with potential interstate and overseas travel as required.
About You
You are someone who:
Thrives in fast‐paced event environments and stays calm under pressure.
Has strong problem‐solving ability and exceptional attention to detail.
Communicates clearly with clients, venues and crew.
Executes tasks and checklists without follow‐up.
Is confident filming on iPhone and cameras.
Can edit using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
Is willing to learn MYOB.
Works well independently in a hands‐on role.
Mandatory Requirements
Valid driver's licence.
Ability to work in office (Lake Coogee) and attend events.
Editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
Bonus
Interest in learning to DJ private events, with a pathway to paid gigs for the right person.
Pay & Hours
Minimum 16 hours per week (e.g. 2 days x 8 hours).
