Job Summary
The Operations Team Lead will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and innovation in transportation networks.
* Manage departmental duties on a daily basis.
* Provide leadership support to the Operations Shift Manager and Operations Lead as required.
* Conduct thorough debriefs of all staff and ensure accurate paperwork completion.
* Assign tasks to team members to optimize workflow and daily metrics.
Candidates with experience in planning, performance metrics, and process improvement are highly sought after. A flexible schedule to accommodate weekend, night, and holiday shifts is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a strong culture of health and safety practices within the team.
* Track attendance and work flow of team members for optimal performance.
* Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Operations Lead to identify and rectify issues promptly.
* Support the training and development of new associates to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge.
* Monitor and report key departmental metrics.
* Resolve process-related area issues efficiently.
