About the Role:
We are seeking applicants for a Specialist Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) in Launceston, Tasmania.
The Specialist Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) is responsible for performing basic and advanced diagnostic imaging including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) and/or Angiography radiographic imaging examinations, procedures and associated administrative tasks. This role has an emphasis on MRI, with a view to extend operating hours.
This is a permanent, full time, day worker position (with on-call), working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date.

About You:
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Licenced to practice under Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016
- Postgraduate study in advanced medical imaging or other relevant major (desirable)
- Professional development in areas relevant to the role (desirable)
- Demonstrated high standard of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, time management and organisation to ensure effective teamwork
- Current drivers licence
- Working with children check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
