Trippas White Group is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Casual Chef to join our catering team at the NSW Police Academy, Goulburn.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional, high-volume catering environment, delivering quality meals and hospitality services to students, staff, and guests. Multiple shifts are available across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is produced to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Maintain compliance with food safety, allergen management, and hygiene procedures.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and stock rotation.
* Assist with menu preparation and daily production requirements.
* Support buffet, café, function, and event catering operations.
* Complete food safety records and documentation as required.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and receiving deliveries.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Hold relevant chef qualifications or have equivalent industry experience.
* Have previous experience in commercial kitchens, catering, hotels, clubs, pubs, or restaurants.
* Demonstrate strong food preparation and presentation skills.
* Possess sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
* Be organised, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Be flexible and available to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
* Hold a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential).
