This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver best practice Radiation Oncology nursing services as part of a small team. You will have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care that meets their physical and psychological needs.
* Undertake direct patient care including education, wound management and medication administration in accordance with Practice Protocols.
* Effectively manage patient interactions and ensure seamless communication with doctors, allied health services and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to support quality improvement initiatives.
* Stay up-to-date with radiation oncology nursing standards and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines.
Requirements
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience (preferred).
* An understanding of oncology nursing principles or willingness to undergo training in radiation oncology nursing.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
* Able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development and ongoing learning.
