Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to undertake various tasks within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical skills, including making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances.
Fault finding and problem solving skills are also essential for this role.
A key responsibility of the position includes undertaking continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair.
Lastly, taking a proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance is crucial for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Must have Fitter and Turner trade qualifications.
* Previous experience with maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Ability to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude.
* Sound computer skills.
