Role
Kaplan Professional is seeking an experienced Manager, Academic Content (Financial Advice) to lead the development and delivery of high-quality educational content across our Financial Advice programs.
This is a senior leadership role where you will manage a team of academics, administrators and content specialists, working alongside industry experts to create engaging, compliant, and innovative digital learning experiences.
You will play a key role in shaping curriculum, ensuring academic quality, and driving innovation in content design across Higher Education, Vocational Education, Continuing Education and bespoke programs.

Responsibilities
* Lead the development, production, and quality assurance of Financial Advice content across all programs
* Ensure content meets academic standards, learning outcomes, and regulatory requirements (including Financial Adviser Standards)
* Drive continuous improvement of course materials to maintain industry relevance and quality
* Manage and analyse student performance data and support governance processes
* Lead and manage a team of academics and content creators, including coaching and development
* Build and manage relationships with external subject matter experts (SMEs)
* Oversee student engagement activities including discussion forums and content‐related queries
* Collaborate with internal teams (instructional design, multimedia, sales, and operations) to deliver high‐quality digital learning experiences
Requirements
* Masters or higher qualification in Financial Planning, Financial Advice, or related discipline
* Proven leadership experience managing teams in an education environment
* At least 5 years' experience in financial advice or a related financial services field
* Experience in learning design and delivery within Higher Education and/or Vocational Education
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in financial advice
* Excellent writing, research, and ability to translate complex concepts into engaging content
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
