Support Professional
Job Description:
We are seeking Support Professionals to join our team in Bunbury. As a Support Professional, you will be working with customers who have disabilities, providing them with the support and care they need to live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and work towards achieving them;
* Join customers in community-based recreational activities, promoting socialisation and inclusion;
* Assist customers with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration, and attending appointments;
* Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed;
* Undertake administration duties and complete mandatory reporting tasks.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
* The ability to follow person-centred plans and assist individuals to achieve their goals and outcomes;
* An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
* A valid driver's license and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with a motor vehicle allowance rebate).
