Job Description
A Northern NT GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice.
Responsibilities
* The GPs primarily see scheduled patients for planned care and those referred by the nurses and AHPs. The clinic is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
* Serving the West Arnhem region, including homelands. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and other remote communities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate care.
* Nurses handle acute presentations and on-call duties, while GPs are not required to be on-call. In emergencies and acute cases during and after business hours, nursing staff utilize the NT Health medical deputising service (DMO on-call service).
