The Role
We are building a modern and lean marketing department that does things differently. No bloated agencies. No disconnected creative teams. The creative director/strategist needs to be someone who lives and breathes creative performance and takes pride in producing work that actually drives results.
This role is ideal for someone with strong taste and strong strategy. Someone who can develop ideas, shape concepts, guide editors, understand what makes an ad work and lift our brand's visual standard to a world class level.
What you will be responsible for
* Owning the entire creative strategy and direction across Meta
* Developing fresh concepts, hooks and scripts that speak directly to the lifestyle and mindset of watch enthusiasts
* Turning raw product footage, lifestyle scenes and testimonial material into high performing ads
* Creating ad briefs, and story boards, and mood boards for the ad creative team
* Guiding and managing an offshore ad creative editing team
* Reviewing all drafts and providing clear direction to maintain quality and consistency
* Interpreting ad performance data to understand which angles resonate and why
* Maintaining an organised library of creative assets
* Protecting the brand's visual identity and premium feel
* Working closely with the founders in weekly creative planning sessions to refine existing angles and shape new concepts
What we are looking for (must have)
* Experience with Meta ad creative performance
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Meta ad creative performance
* A creative thinker who understands direct response marketing and knows what makes ads convert
* Proven experience developing digital ads for ecommerce brands
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing digital ads for ecommerce brands
* Strong visual taste and a natural storytelling instinct
* Ability to write hooks, scripts and concepts quickly
* Confidence in guiding editors and designers to bring ideas to life
* Comfort reading and interpreting performance metrics
* Organised and reliable with a clean workflow
* An appreciation for premium product presentation and aesthetic discipline
* Understanding of short form content and its impact on ad success
* Experience managing creative teams (potentially offshore)
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing creative teams
* Familiarity with product launches or brand storytelling
Nice to have
* Experience with TikTok, YouTube and email marketing
* Experience in lifestyle, luxury or enthusiast niches
* Interest in watches or collector communities (not essential)
