Our client is seeking multiple Software Engineers / Full Stack Developers to develop, support, maintain and enhance several critical applications utilised within our client and across the Federal Government. They will work within, and at times lead, a team of developers and senior developers to deliver robust functionality within the software produced by the team
Key duties and responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders including the Software Engineering Lead, Business Analysts, Testers, Management, other Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, Cyber Security and business teams to design, develop and support quality outcomes within an existing codebase.
* Develop, track and complete assigned PBIs and bugs to a high quality across all areas of the system.
* Participate and actively contribute to peer code reviews.
* Participate and actively contribute to all scrum ceremonies.
* Adhere to existing team development and deployment practices, while championing their improvement.
* Deliver technical production support as required on a rotating roster.
* Provide out of core hours support as required on a rotating roster.
* Design, develop and maintain user interfaces for modern applications
* Be a technical escalation point for complex bugs or enhancements.
* Identify and present process or code improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to system and process documentation.
* Contribute to a strong culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and constructive feedback within and across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
* Mentorship of other team members and facilitation of knowledge sharing.
* Proven experience in software development covering one or more of the following technology stacks; .Net, Angular and SQLServer, Power Platform, Sharepoint, Service Now
* Experience delivering software solutions within an enterprise environment
* Outstanding work ethic, self-starting within demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Proven experience delivering within a team dynamic
