The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Echuca. In this hands‐on role, you'll oversee day‐to‐day site operations, coordinate and ensure your team has everything they need to work safely and efficiently. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly across multiple sites, solving problems on the go, and driving a strong safety culture. What you'll be responsible for
* Communicating accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders
* Travelling across 12 sites weekly for supervision
* Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals
* Ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Reviewing route performance to identify and drive improvements
* Championing a safety‐first and continuous improvement culture
* Conduct daily debriefs, team meetings, and toolbox sessions
* Manage rosters, timesheets, and labor allocation
* Problem‐solving immediate operational concerns with a solutions‐focused approach
* Ensure all staff comply with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and relevant legislation
* Developing and promoting a safety‐first and continuous improvement culture
What you'll need to be successful
* Minimum 2 years' experience leading a team
* Valid driver's licence
* Background in waste management (desirable)
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data
* Competent computer skills
* A genuine commitment to safety and a positive, can‐do attitude
