About the Role
We're looking for a newly graduated Engineer (Mechanical) or someone who is about to graduate to join our team in Welshpool.
You'll start off your career as an Internal Sales/Parts Interpreter and, as you learn and develop within the business, you'll have the opportunity to progress into a more technical sales role.
A little bit about the role:
* Attend to counter, telephone and online orders and enquiries
* Follow up customer quotes
* Assist in converting customer quotes to sales
* Process customer orders including sourcing, packing and dispatch
* Promote Applied's product, service and solutions range to fulfill customer needs
* Manage technical relationships with customers
* Handle all technical enquiries and coordinate suppliers from a technical perspective
* Assist in preparing and facilitating training
* And much more as you develop in the role
You'll also have exposure to our subject matter experts in our Reliability & Services Department.
Qualifications
* Natural team player with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
* Proven customer service experience, ideally in the industrial retail sector
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Great at multitasking and prioritising
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
