Job Description
In this role, you'll be a key link between our payroll remediation project team and a group of previous employees, ensuring clear, timely and professional communication from start to finish. You'll take the lead on outreach, guide people through secure processes, and resolve queries with both professionalism and empathy.
Your work will include:
* Proactively contacting former employees, verifying details, and ensuring they have the information and support they need
* Drafting and tailoring communications that are clear, compliant, and aligned with our messaging standards
* Providing step-by-step guidance to securely submit personal and banking information, and troubleshooting common issues
* Collaborating closely with Payroll to answer questions on entitlements, payments, and remediation outcomes
* Maintaining accurate records and tracking tools to meet compliance, privacy, and audit requirements
* Supporting the broader HR team in creating and updating HR forms, templates, and process documents
Qualifications
You'll bring proven experience in HR advisory or generalist roles, ideally including project-based work. A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and Awards is essential, along with confidence in handling payroll processes and related queries.
We're looking for someone who can combine accuracy with a personable approach, and who can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key skills include:
* Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to build trust quickly
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and strong general digital skills
* Experience in payroll remediation, the education sector, or private equity will be highly regarded.
