Head Chef – Holy Cross in Kincumber (Central Coast, NSW)
* Location: Holy Cross in Kincumber, Central Coast, NSW
* Position: Permanent full-time role – Monday to Friday
* Pay: $47.15 per hour plus super

Key Role Focus Areas
* Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs and preferences.
* Manage all kitchen resources, including equipment and food supplies, within a budget.
* Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen that complies with aged care quality standards.
* Consult with residents on menu design and meal times.
* Prepare texture- modified diets and supplements.
* Ensure meals are visually well presented.
* Collaborate with the Concierge to provide food for special events.
Qualifications and Experience
* Heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Strong customer-centric approach and relationship-building skills.
* Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated leadership experience within a commercial kitchen (aged care experience preferred).
* Ability to build relationships with older people.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) preferred.
* Competency with computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
