Experienced Excavator/ Skid Steer Operator
Due to growth in our company, BTR Excavations requires an experienced full-time Excavator/Skid Steer operator. Working with detailed location plans, you will ideally have at least 3 years experience in this field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in digging trenches and levelling, digging around live assets, as well as loading and driving trucks. A solid understanding of earthworks and trench excavation is essential, along with a strong commitment to safety and familiarity with various types of plant and equipment.
Position: Monday - Friday with flexibility for Saturday or nightworks (dependent on workload)
Location: Start/Finish in Waterloo Corner SA
Responsibilities
* Excavating around known and located asset
* Relocation of water meters utilizing mini 1.8T Excavator
* Skid Steer operations
* Trenching, grading & backfilling
* Sewer Mains
* Conduct routine equipment inspections
* Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
* Maintaining and cleaning the work site
Requirements
* Excavator ticket
* Proven experience as a Civil Construction Excavator Operator
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Proven experience digging around live assets
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and safety protocols
* Ability to work overtime, weekends or nights when requiredAble to work as part of a team
* HC License
