The role
As the Commercial Sales Manager for NSW & ACT, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth across Rheem's Commercial Hot Water and Pool Heating product lines within your designated territory and market segments. You will lead and support a team of 5 sales people, aligning them to deliver strong commercial outcomes and consistent market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives
* Deliver against Commercial Hot Water and Pool sales unit targets
* Manage revenue and margin performance in line with budget expectations
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement
* Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to customers and stakeholders
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong blend of commercial leadership, technical expertise, and relationship-building capability. You are a confident communicator with a proven track record in driving sales outcomes and delivering customer-focused solutions.
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline, and/or trade background in plumbing, refrigeration, or electrical
* Formal sales qualification from a recognised institution is highly regarded
* Demonstrated experience in a senior commercial sales role at a state level, including proposing, sizing, and selling technically comparable products
* Proven success in a customer-facing, field-based sales environment with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills across both technical and commercial topics
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders, including internal teams, end users, channel partners, engineers, builders, and plumbing contractors
* Confident and engaging public speaker, capable of delivering impactful presentations
* Skilled in solution-based selling, with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver innovative, tailored solutions
