What You'll Be Learning
* Manufacturing and installing custom cabinetry and furniture
* Working on residential and commercial fit-outs (kitchens, bathrooms, offices)
* Measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing timber and board materials
* Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
* Reading and interpreting plans and design drawings
* Maintaining high attention to detail and quality finishes
* Working safely and consistently by following company procedures and industry standards
You'll receive a combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, working toward completion of your Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology.
About You
* Completed a Pre-Apprenticeship (Certificate II in Construction Pathways, Furniture, or Cabinet Making preferred, but not essential)
* A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
* A Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
* Strong attention to detail and an interest in working with your hands
