Cobram Estate Olives (CBO) are looking for fitters (qualified or unqualified) to join our team in Mildura. Whether you're a qualified tradesperson or a 3rd/4th year apprentice, we'd love to hear from you. This is a practical, hands‐on role where you'll work closely with experienced trades and engineers, commissioning, modifying and maintaining our fleet of innovative harvesters.
The Role
* Interpret technical drawings to guide fabrication and commissioning.
* Fabricate and assemble metal components for harvesters and farm machinery.
* Upgrade and commission new equipment in line with OH&S standards.
* Perform functional testing on new or modified harvesters.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
* Maintain workshop cleanliness and OH&S standards.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience with machinery.
* Qualification in a trade, preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience in commissioning agricultural machinery or heavy equipment, preferred but not essential.
* A self‐starter with the ability to take initiative, work efficiently and without supervision.
