ATG is a family owned, independently run global travel business that operates across 8 countries. As we enter our 10th decade of operation, our People & Culture department has identified the need for a super star Payroll guru, with an interest in People & Culture, to join the team!
Even though the role will focus on delivering accurate, timely payroll tasks there is a good mix of People & Culture duties to keep things interesting! The successful person will be naturally driven, pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer service, have a great attention to detail and a "can do, nothing is a problem, attitude"!
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture the role is responsible for the following (though not limited to):
* Processing payroll for up to 500 + employees across 5 countries (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
* Keeping up to date with all payroll legislative and compliance requirements
* Managing all payroll queries globally
* Calculate and process all statutory payments like payroll tax, superannuation/pensions, worker compensation
* Produce monthly and yearly reports
* In conjunction with P&C team review awards and monitor wages to ensure compliance
* Train payroll backup on end-to-end function
* Assist in the management of workers compensation claims
* Assist with the creation of employment contracts and letters as required
Skills & Experience
As an experienced payroll specialist, you'll be task motivated and capable of hitting the ground running. You'll bring the following to the role:
* 6+ years' experience in end-to-end domestic payroll (international exp highly desirable)
* Intermediate Excel knowledge
* Natural talent for identifying and delivering customer solutions
