Clinical Nurse Consultant – Oncology Coordination
This is a Permanent Part-Time appointment. (38 Hours, 0.5 FTE)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our dedicated Oncology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled nursing professional to provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and support in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, service improvement, staff education, and patient advocacy while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Areas of accountability include radiation oncology services delivery, enabling patients to access care pathways internally and externally, leading clinical standards setting and monitoring, policy development and change management, providing mentorship and role modeling for nurses, and contributing to the advancement of the profession in line with SMHS vision and values.
