Position Overview
As an integral part of the Distribution Lines team, you will be a valued member responsible for ensuring quality construction and maintenance to provide a reliable supply to customers, all within applicable procedures, guidelines and standards in planned and unplanned work scenarios.
You will be required to adhere to Genus company procedures, standards, and client requirements and be responsible for ensuring protected work practices for yourself and your team members. This includes identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with Genus Group's core values, and meeting all associated legislative requirements.
Rosters may vary depending on location, client site and expectations, i.e., 2 weeks on, 1 week off, up to 12 hours per day.
Qualifications
* Applicants must hold a current mobile crane licence and relevant high‐risk work licences.
* C2 Crane & rigging qualifications will be highly regarded.
* Valid "MR" class manual driver's licence with the ability to upgrade to HR (HR licence desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to work safely on distribution and transmission networks.
* Values teamwork and safety as a priority.
Compensation and Benefits
Attractive remuneration packages, including excellent hourly rates, travel allowances, penalty rates and more are available for the right applicants. You also may be eligible for a sign‐on bonus upon commencement. All required training will be supplied, and all training hours, including inductions, will be paid at the base hourly rate.
