Workday integrations principal consultant

The Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation.

Responsibilities:

* Reinforce company policies and procedures to others.
* Help others by driving, organizing, and assigning tasks within a project workstream to ensure efficient completion and achieve project goals.
* Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
* Engage and support the client throughout all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
* Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping the client, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of changes or progress.
* Take a leadership role on a project, or as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
* Display hands-on expertise of the software, including loading client data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
* Use technical skills to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
* Mentor fellow consultants and analysts, providing support for shadow assignments.
* Participate in training and internal knowledge-sharing activities.

Skills & Requirements:

* Ideally 3-5 years of consulting experience.
* Workday Integration, Workday Studio TM, and Workday CCTPP TM certification preferred.
* Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on ERP implementation projects using SOA tools.
* Proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, etc.).
* B.A. / B.S. in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
