Position Summary
Assistant Community Manager –Shortland Waters Retirement Living, Shortland, NSW, 2307. Permanent part‐time (Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–3:30pm). Reports to the Community Manager.
Responsibilities
* Support residents, their families, internal stakeholders and external contractors.
* Serve as the first point of contact for resident queries, suggestions and concerns.
* Ensure the ongoing daily operations of the community, including safety, security, maintenance and financial performance.
* Monitor and review village compliance with the Retirement Villages Act and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Assist with budget development and financial management.
* Provide regular operational feedback and escalation items to the Community Business Manager.
* Complete general administrative tasks such as email and phone communication, reception duties, auditing and incident recording.
Qualifications
* Experience in an operations‐based management role (e.g. Hospitality, Hotel/Tourism, Property Management or Facilities Management).
* Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline (desirable).
* High‐level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
* Intermediate use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
* Current Police Check certificate (required).
* Two (2) COVID‐19 vaccinations (required).
