The Assistant Café Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering superior service and effective management at the café.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Café Manager to execute day-to-day operations efficiently.
* Set an example and be actively involved with your team.
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences and implement effective management practices, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met.
* Maintain and optimize costs to meet targets while identifying opportunities for business growth.
* Nurture and expand customer, team, and supplier relationships.
* Maintain the café's presentation, cleanliness, and overall integrity for both your team and guests.
Essential Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a similar environment is crucial, as is holding a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
* Barista experience is advantageous.
* Experience across operational needs, including rostering and stock management, is required.
