We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join our dynamic team at First Light Healthcare. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities, supporting both clinical and administrative staff, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily administrative operations, including patient scheduling, record management, and billing processes.
* Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
* Manage and maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Supervise administrative staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
* Implement and maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Assist in financial management tasks, including budgeting, payroll, and inventory control.
* Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a focus on excellent customer service.
* Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced service delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical administration or healthcare management.
* Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other medical software (HotDoc, Best Practice, Cubiko).
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
