Underground Maintenance/Projects Role
This is a challenging opportunity to join a team focused on maintaining the surface and underground mine infrastructure as a Fixed Plant Fitter. The role reports directly to the Project Crew Leading Hand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing surface and underground plant and equipment.
* Working autonomously and within a small team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
* Maintaining a high level of mechanical aptitude and ability to fabricate, construct and repair equipment as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A trade qualification background (Fitter & Turner, Boilermaker, Carpenter) or relevant experience.
* Good communication skills both oral and written.
* Ability to work shift work, in an underground environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work constructively as a team member.
* Ability to read mechanical diagrams and schematics.
