As the Executive Director, you will lead key projects and reforms across the department to enhance performance and deliver improved outcomes for the State. This pivotal role will see you shaping and driving the department’s long-term strategic direction and adopting a whole-of system approach to achieve sustainable and impactful results.
Reporting directly to the Director-General, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and oversee a diverse portfolio to ensure the successful implementation of the Department's and Government's reform agenda. Acting as a key interface between the department and the Minister's Office, you will deliver high quality, timely, and impartial advice to support the Government's priorities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading cross-agency collaboration and driving significant policy and strategic reforms.
- Providing expert advice on cabinet and parliamentary matters, media engagement, and ministerial requirements.
- Building and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and deliver on key priorities.
- Championing a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentoring and guiding senior leaders and staff to build organisational capability while promoting diversity, inclusion, and the department's core values.
