Salary: $26.43 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Supervise school crossings during the school zone hours of 8:20 – 9:20AM and 2:30 – 3:30PM, Monday to Friday.
* Provide 1 hour of observation in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon.
* Maintain a total of 20 hours of supervising per fortnight.
* Ensure child safety by monitoring traffic and communicating with parents, teachers, and motorists.
* Identify potential hazards and respond promptly.
* Record incidents and prepare reports as required.
* Advise community members on road safety best practices.
Qualification and Experience
* Minimum age 18 years at appointment.
* Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment.
* Good communicator, reliable, and capable of working in varied weather conditions.
* Previous experience in child safety or community engagement is an advantage.
